Interior Design is not my first career, but it is an art that I have loved since childhood. Growing up, I was the girl who re-arranged her room every week!
After my family was transferred overseas, I began to study Interior Design in Singapore and completed my degree in 2002 at The Whitehouse Institute of Design in
Living and studying overseas gave me a real appreciation for the “global style.” I believe that a home should reflect the people who live there, not just the latest trends.
Since moving back to Connecticut, I have thoroughly enjoyed working with my clients to create real homes … homes where families are raised, friends visit and people feel most like themselves.
This magic happens when there is a true collaboration between designer and client. Through listening to my clients, respecting their budget and offering fresh ideas, I have established a thriving business built through customer referrals.
How can I help you design the home you truly love?
Christine is a rare gem and an absolute pleasure to work with. When we met her, my husband and I instantly found her very approachable and were drawn to her down to earth nature. As a client, both my husband and I feel that she has taken the time to get to know each of us, our lifestyle and design tastes. She has incorporated all of those aspects into creating spaces that are not only beautiful and comfortable but representative of our personality. She has vast knowledge and talent on not only the design front but also in renovation and construction aspects. In our case, she has proven to have an incredible ability to take spaces that are not ideal and introduce a unique perspective and vision that makes it both incredibly functional and beautiful. Lastly and equally important, Christine is extremely responsive to client questions and concerns, and follows through on every project until and beyond completion.

We can’t thank Christine enough for helping us with the renovation of our kitchen, mudroom, powder room and exterior. She has a particular knack for integrating collectibles/antiques with an updated style. Christine was able to make our home feel personal and unique, yet functional and very comfortable. We appreciate Christine’s collaborative approach and strong attention to detail. We look forward to working with Christine on our next project to update our dining room and living room.

Christine is a talented professional with a friendly, easy-going style. She helped me and my wife settle into our new home with everything from the renovation of bathrooms to choosing paint colors, arranging furniture and customizing new drapery. Christine helped us prioritize our long list of “to do’s” and we were able to stick to a budget. She was a real help to our family during a stressful move.

Christine is an experienced professional and it was a pleasure to work with her on my master bathroom renovation. She is creative, responsive and has wonderful taste. She was able to grasp and incorporate my wants with an updated and sophisticated edge. Christine knew how important it was to me to keep true to the character of my 1926 house and she did that brilliantly. I especially love the vintage-feel tub that she sourced. In the end, the bathroom turned out beautifully and on budget. I can’t wait to work with her again!

After being in our home for 9 years, we were ready to make some updates. Christine helped us accomplish this by changing/updating some paint colors, fabrics, lampshades and hardware. All relatively simple changes, but the impact has been huge and our home now looks much more current. Christine is very organized, efficient and a pleasure to work with.
